What is 4-CHANNEL


4-CHANNEL is one of the commonly used terms in electronic components. The term generally has the following meaning:

4-CHANNEL means a part with 4 independent channels.

Each channel has an independent path through which electrical signals can be transmitted, and these channels can operate in parallel or independently of each other.

For example, a 4-CHANNEL audio interface has 4 independent audio channels, allowing multiple audio signals to be transmitted simultaneously.

In addition, the 4-CHANNEL A/D converter has 4 independent input channels, through which multiple analog signals can be converted into digital signals simultaneously.

4-CHANNEL is also used in the field of video signal processing.

For example, a 4-CHANNEL video multiplexer can combine 4 input video signals into a single output signal.

Therefore, 4-CHANNEL is one of the commonly used terms in electronic components, and is used in audio interfaces, A/D converters, video multiplexers, etc.
