ST92185B - GENERAL INFORMATION
9.2 ORDERING INFORMATION
Each device is available for production in a user
programmable version (OTP) as well as in factory
coded version (ROM). OTP devices are shipped to
customer with a default blank content FFh, while
ROM factory coded parts contain the code sent by
customer. The common EPROM versions for de-
bugging and prototyping features the maximum
memory size and peripherals of the family. Care
must be taken to only use resources available on
the target device.
9.2.1 Transfer Of Customer Code
Customer code is made up of the ROM contents
and the list of the selected options (if any). The
ROM contents are to be sent on diskette, or by
electronic means, with the hexadecimal file gener-
ated by the development tool. All unused bytes
must be set to FFh.
