Description
The EG2124A is a cost-effective gate driver IC designed for high-power MOSFETs and IGBTs. It integrates logic signal input processing, dead-time control, undervoltage protection, interlocking logic, level shifting, pulse filtering, and output drive circuitry. The high-side operating voltage reaches up to 260V, while the low-side VCC supply voltage operates within a wide range of 7V to 20V. The chip features an interlocking function to prevent simultaneous conduction of the output power transistors; built-in pull-down resistors on the HIN and LIN input channels ensure that the high- and low-side power MOSFETs remain in the off state if the inputs are left floating. It offers an output current capability of +0.8A/-1.2A and is available in TSSOP20 and QFN24 packages.
