ANADIGICS, Inc. was a semiconductor company that designed and manufactured high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave integrated circuits (ICs) for the broadband wireless, CATV, and fiber optic markets. The company was founded in 1985 and was headquartered in Warren, New Jersey, USA.
ANADIGICS specialized in the design and manufacture of RF power amplifiers, RF tuner ICs, and RF switch ICs for cellular, WiFi, WiMAX, and other wireless communications applications. The company also produced GaAs-based ICs for optical networking applications.
In 2016, ANADIGICS was acquired by GaAs Labs, LLC, a subsidiary of II-VI Incorporated, a global leader in engineered materials and optoelectronic components. Since then, ANADIGICS' products and technologies have been integrated into II-VI's portfolio of optical and electronic components for communication networks, industrial lasers, and other applications.
