LVD Interrupt

AnLVDInterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhentheLVDInterruptrequestflag,LVF,isset,which

occurswhentheLowVoltageDetectorfunctiondetectsalowpowersupplyvoltage.Toallowthe

programtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterruptvectoraddress,theglobalinterruptenablebit,EMI,and

LowVoltageInterruptenablebit,LVE,mustfirstbeset.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackis

notfullandalowvoltageconditionoccurs,asubroutinecalltotheLVDInterruptvector,willtake

place.WhentheLowVoltageInterruptisserviced,theEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedto

disableotherinterrupts,andtheLVDinterruptrequestflag,LVF,willbealsoautomaticallycleared.

EEPROM Interrupt

AnEEPROMInterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhentheEEPROMInterruptrequestflag,DEF,isset,

whichoccurswhenanEEPROMWritecycleends.Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespective

interruptvectoraddress,theglobalinterruptenablebit,EMI,andEEPROMInterruptenablebit,

DEE,mustfirstbeset.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandanEEPROMWrite

cycleends,asubroutinecalltotherespectiveEEPROMInterruptvector,willtakeplace.Whenthe

EEPROMInterruptisserviced,theEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableotherinterrupts,

andtheEEPROMinterruptrequestflag,DEF,willalsobeautomaticallycleared.

Multi-function Interrupts

WithinthisdevicethereareuptothreeMulti-functioninterrupts.Unliketheotherindependent

interrupts,theseinterruptshavenoindependentsource,butratherareformedfromotherexisting

interruptsources,namelytheTMInterrupts.

AMulti-functioninterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhenanyoftheMulti-functioninterruptrequest

flags,MFnFareset.TheMulti-functioninterruptflagswillbesetwhenanyoftheirincluded

functionsgenerateaninterruptrequestflag.Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterrupt

vectoraddress,whentheMulti-functioninterruptisenabledandthestackisnotfull,andeitherone

oftheinterruptscontainedwithineachofMulti-functioninterruptoccurs,asubroutinecalltooneof

theMulti-functioninterruptvectorswilltakeplace.Whentheinterruptisserviced,therelatedMulti-

FunctionrequestflagwillbeautomaticallyresetandtheEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedto

disableotherinterrupts.

However,itmustbenotedthat,althoughtheMulti-functionInterruptflagswillbeautomatically

resetwhentheinterruptisserviced,therequestflagsfromtheoriginalsourceoftheMulti-function

interrupts,namelytheTMInterruptswillnotbeautomaticallyresetandmustbemanuallyresetby

theapplicationprogram.

TM Interrupts

TheStandardandPeriodicTMshavetwointerrupts,onecomesfromthecomparatorAmatch

situationandtheothercomesfromthecomparatorPmatchsituation.AlloftheTMinterruptsare

containedwithintheMulti-functionInterrupts.ForalloftheTMtypestherearetwointerruptrequest

flagsandtwoenablecontrolbits.ATMinterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhenanyoftheTMrequest

flagsareset,asituationwhichoccurswhenaTMcomparatorPorAmatchsituationhappens.

Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterruptvectoraddress,theglobalinterruptenable

bit,EMI,respectiveTMInterruptenablebit,andrelevantMulti-functionInterruptenablebit,MFnE,

mustfirstbeset.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandaTMcomparatormatch

situationoccurs,asubroutinecalltotherelevantMulti-functionInterruptvectorlocations,willtake

place.WhentheTMinterruptisserviced,theEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableother

interrupts.However,onlytherelatedMFnFflagwillbeautomaticallycleared.AstheTMinterrupt

requestflagswillnotbeautomaticallycleared,theyhavetobeclearedbytheapplicationprogram.
