Ranging drift with temperature

When the temperature increases, the ranging value may be affected.

This value is an offset and not a gain, and it does not depend on the target distance.

The device embeds a feature that allows to compensate the temperature variation effect.

In order to get the most accurate performances, perform a manual temperature update when temperature varies.

This operation is done using a dedicated driver function. Refer to the VL53L4CD Ultra Lite Driver user manual

(UM2931).
