Note:

Calculated values (Table 1) are close to the measured values (Figure 7) and the same

evaluation can be made in negative.

Comparing the current waveform flowing through the protected host in Figure 8 with

Figure 9, with both waveforms with and without the protection device, the current level is

much lower.

Note than the impedance load is equal to 5

Ω.
