5.7 ProgrammableThreshold Port (Analog Input Port)

The

µPD75116(A) is equipped with 4-bit analog input

pins (PTH00 to PTH03) capable of changing the thresh-

old voltage. These pins are configured as shown in

Figure 5-6.

Sixteen threshold voltage (VREF) values (VDD

-VDD

) are available and analog signals can be directly

input.

The analog input port can also be used as a digital

signal input port by selecting VDD

for VREF.
