Circuit protection
Electrical perturbations may happen on the power lines, such as capacitor bank switching,
inductive switching, lighting, and other grid fault conditions. Consequently, it is
recommended to protect the ST-PLC-AFE in differential mode using the schematic shown in
Figure 47 and in single-ended, direct coupling mode using the schematic shown in
Figure 48.
