Timers and watchdogs

The STM32F398VE includes three advanced control timer, up to six general-purpose

timers, two basic timers, two watchdog timers and one SysTick timer. The table below

compares the features of the advanced control, general purpose and basic timers.

Note:

TIM1/8/20/2/3/4/15/16/17 can have PLL as clock source, and therefore can be clocked at

144 MHz.
