Tone Test Set
• The LAN Toner is designed for the network installation and maintenance
professional and can be used on any wiring system including datacom,
telecom, security/alarm, audio and CATV
• Blinks HUB, Switch Port, and PC activity lights for fast identification
• Detect LAN hubs & switches
• Provides tone signaling, continuity testing and telephone line polarity
indication combined with a modular breakout adapter
• Selectable tone outputs for identifying multiple cable runs
• Includes multiple connection options
• Our most comprehensive tone test set
• Traditional alternating tone signal for wire identification
• Audible line condition testing (level) indicates dead,
working and off-hook lines
• Line 1 and 2 polarity testing using 4-conductor modular plug
• Improved talk battery supply for communication over inactive pairs
• Tone and test functions using either modular plug or 24" alligator
clip leads
• Audible resistance level measurement
• Audible capacitance level measurement
• Battery operated (9V not included)
