General Description

TheHT67F488/HT67F489seriesofdevicesareFlashMemoryA/Dtype8-bithighperformance

RISCarchitecturemicrocontrollers,designedespeciallyforapplicationsthatinterfacedirectlyto

analogsignals,suchasthosefromsensors.OfferinguserstheconvenienceofFlashMemorymulti-

programmingfeatures,thesedevicesalsoincludeawiderangeoffunctionsandfeatures.Other

memoryincludesanareaofRAMDataMemoryaswellasanareaoftrueEEPROMmemory(only

forHT67F489)forstorageofnon-volatiledatasuchasserialnumbers,calibrationdataetc.

Analogfeaturesincludeamulti-channel12-bitA/Dconverterfunction.Multipleandextremely

flexibleTimerModulesprovidetiming,pulsegenerationandPWMgenerationfunctions.Protective

featuressuchasaninternalWatchdogTimer,LowVoltageResetandLowVoltageDetectorcoupled

withexcellentnoiseimmunityandESDprotectionensurethatreliableoperationismaintainedin

hostileelectricalenvironments.

AfullchoiceofHIRC,HXT,LXTandLIRCoscillatorfunctionsareprovidedincludingafully

integratedsystemoscillatorwhichrequiresnoexternalcomponentsforitsimplementation.The

abilitytooperateandswitchdynamicallybetweenarangeofoperatingmodesusingdifferent

clocksourcesgivesuserstheabilitytooptimisemicrocontrolleroperationandminimizepower

consumption.

TheUARTmoduleiscontainedinthesedevices.Itcansupporttheapplicationssuchasdata

communicationnetworksbetweenmicrocontrollers,low-costdatalinksbetweenPCsandperipheral

devices,portableandbatteryoperateddevicecommunication,etc.
