VL is negative during the turn-off phase according to the used sign convention, since
diL/dt < 0.
3.3.2
Demagnetization energy with VBAT > VCL_LS – VCL_HS
As discussed in the Section 2.2.2, the gate-drain clamp is activated.
From an electrical point of view Figure 7 and Figure 10 are equivalent, regardless whether
the switch is in high-side or low-side configuration (provided that VBAT < VCL_LS – VCL_HS).
