Inductor LDCDC

The fast switching frequency (4 MHz) of the AS1170 allows for the use of small SMDs for the

external inductor. The saturation current ISATURATION should be chosen to be above the

maximum value of ILIMIT13. The inductor should have very low DC resistance (DCR) to reduce

the I²R power losses - high DCR values will reduce efficiency.
