Overview

Highly configurable, the I2S controller is for use in audio applications, providing a simple

interface to standard audio components.

Main features

Compliant to Philips I2S serial bus specifications

●

I2S Master for input/output operations

●

Supports 2.0 (Stereo) Audio Tx/Rx

●

Supports 12/16/20/24/32 bit audio data interface

●

Supports standard sampling rates (8, 16, 32, 44.1, 48, 96, 192 kHz). The input clock to

the PLL is 24 MHz, so the rate precision depends on the chosen rate and divider.

●

Programmable FIFO thresholds

●

Supports data exchange to the system memory through DMA interface
