67 / 89 page  67/89 D950-Core 7.2 BUS SWITCH UNIT (BSU) 7.2.1 Introduction The D950-Core Bus Switch Unit (BSU) is a multiplexed interface between the D950-Core and external memory. It enables extension of X, Y and I memories off-chip, allowing multiple possible configurations for an AS-DSP built around the D950-Core. The figure below shows the layout of the D950-Core BSU.
