In this case Equation 22 must be updated: Equation 27 given δV LKG the voltage drop across the current sensing filter resistor, due to the CSNS pin leakage current ( Equation 13). Equation 27 also takes account of the sensing element variation due to thermal drift: this element is almost negligible if the NTC thermal compensation network is used. 8.11.2 Current reporting (IMON) accuracy The current monitor feature (IMON), as described in Section 8.10.2: Current monitor (IMON), has the following design equation: Equation 28 ● GINT = 3 is the internal fixed gain ● RIMON and RG are external resistors for gain programming ● GSNS is the current sensing filter attenuation ● RSNS is the current sensing element. The statistical error of the IMON function can be computed: Equation 29 δR SNS/RSNS is the current sensing element accuracy; δR IMON/RIMON and δRG/RG are the external resistors accuracy; δG INT/GINT < 1% is the internal fixed gain error; VIMON,OFF < 1 mV is the IMON maximum input offset; δG SNS/GSNS is the current sensing filter error (refer to Equation 26 for details).
