After executing the ADC or SBC instruction, execute another instruction before executing the SEC, CLC, or CLD instruction. Notes on status flag in decimal mode When decimal mode is selected, the values of three of the flags in the status register (the N, V, and Z flags) are invalid after a ADC or SBC instruction is executed. The carry flag (C) is set to “1” if a carry is generated as a result of the calculation, or is cleared to “0” if a borrow is generated. To determine whether a calculation has generated a carry, the C flag must be initialized to “0” before each calculation. To check for a borrow, the C flag must be initialized to “1” before each calculation. (3) JMP instruction When using the JMP instruction in indirect addressing mode, do not specify the last address on a page as an indirect address. 3.3.11 Programming and test of built-in PROM version As for in the One Time PROM version (shipped in blank) and the built-in EPROM version, their built-in PROM can be read or programmed with a general-purpose PROM programmer using a special programming adapter. The built-in EPROM version is available only for program development and on-chip program evaluation. The programming test and screening for PROM of the One Time PROM version (shipped in blank) are not performed in the assembly process and the following processes. To ensure reliability after programming, performing programming and test according to the Figure 3.3.10 before actual use are recommended. Set D flag to “1” ↓ ADC or SBC instruction ↓ NOP instruction ↓ SEC, CLC, or CLD instruction Fig. 3.3.9 Status flag at decimal calculations Fig. 3.3.10 Programming and testing of One Time PROM version Programming with PROM programmer Screening (Caution) (Leave at 150 °C for 40 hours) Verification with PROM programmer Functional check in target device Caution: The screening temperature is far higher than the storage temperature. Never expose to 150 °C exceeding 100 hours. |
