13.4 AC/DC Parameters
The following tables describe the AC/DC parameters of the PSD5XX family:
t DC Electrical Specification
t AC Timing Specification
ZPLD Timing
– Combinatorial Delays
– Synchronous Clock Mode
– Asynchronous Clock Mode
Microcontroller Timing
– Read Timing
– Write Timing
– Peripheral Mode Timing
– Power Down and Reset Timing
PSD5XX Specific Timings
– Counter/Timer Timing
– Interrupt Controller Timing
Following are some issues concerning the parameters presented:
t In the DC specification, the Supply Current is given for different modes of operation.
Before calculating the total power consumption, determine the percentage of time that
the PSD5XX is in each mode. Also the current is considerably different if the
ZPLD_TURBO bit is "OFF" and EPROM_CMISER is "ON".
t The AC power component provides the ZPLD, EPROM, SRAM and TIMER mA/MHz
specification. Figure 50 shows the ZPLD mA/MHz as a function of the number
of Product Terms (PT) used.
t In the ZPLD timing parameters add the required delay when ZPLD_TURBO is "OFF".
t In the MCU timing specification, add the required time delay when EPROM_CMISER
is "ON".
