Note:WhenthesystemclocksourcefSYSisswitchedtofSUBfromfH,thehighspeedoscillatorwill
stoptoconservethepowerorcontinuetooscillatetoprovidetheclocksource,fH~fH/64,for
peripheralcircuittouse,whichisdeterminedbyconfiguringthecorrespondinghighspeed
oscillatorenablecontrolbit.
System Operation Modes
Therearesixdifferentmodesofoperationforthemicrocontroller,eachonewithitsown
specialcharacteristicsandwhichcanbechosenaccordingtothespecificperformanceand
powerrequirementsoftheapplication.Therearetwomodesallowingnormaloperationofthe
microcontroller,theFASTModeandSLOWMode.Theremainingfourmodes,theSLEEP,IDLE0,
IDLE1andIDLE2ModeareusedwhenthemicrocontrollerCPUisswitchedofftoconservepower.
