FormostapplicationsaresistorconnectedbetweenVDDandtheRESpinandacapacitorconnected betweenVSSandtheRESpinwillprovideasuitableexternalresetcircuit.Anywiringconnectedto theRESpinshouldbekeptasshortaspossibletominimiseanystraynoiseinterference. ForapplicationsthatoperatewithinanenvironmentwheremorenoiseispresenttheEnhancedReset Circuitshownisrecommended. VDD VDD RES 10kΩ~ 100kΩ 0.01µF** 1N4148* VSS 0.1µF~1µF 300Ω* Note:*ItisrecommendedthatthiscomponentisaddedforaddedESDprotection. **Itisrecommendedthatthiscomponentisaddedinenvironmentswherepowerlinenoiseis significant.
