145 / 224 page  Rev. 1.00 144 De�e��e� �1� �01� Rev. 1.00 145 De�e��e� �1� �01� HT66F4530/HT66F4540/HT66F4550 A/D Flash MCU with Dual Operational Amplifiers HT66F4530/HT66F4540/HT66F4550 A/D Flash MCU with Dual Operational Amplifiers I2C Bus Communication CommunicationontheI2Cbusrequiresfourseparatesteps,aSTARTsignal,aslavedeviceaddress transmission,adatatransmissionandfinallyaSTOPsignal.WhenaSTARTsignalisplacedon theI2Cbus,alldevicesonthebuswillreceivethissignalandbenotifiedoftheimminentarrivalof dataonthebus.Thefirstsevenbitsofthedatawillbetheslaveaddresswiththefirstbitbeingthe MSB.Iftheaddressoftheslavedevicematchesthatofthetransmittedaddress,theHAASbitinthe SIMC1registerwillbesetandanI2Cinterruptwillbegenerated.Afterenteringtheinterruptservice routine,theslavedevicemustfirstchecktheconditionoftheHAASandSIMTOFbitstodetermine whethertheinterruptsourceoriginatesfromanaddressmatchorfromthecompletionofan8-bit datatransfercompletionorI2Cbustime-outoccurrence.Duringadatatransfer,notethatafterthe 7-bitslaveaddresshasbeentransmitted,thefollowingbit,whichisthe8thbit,istheread/writebit whosevaluewillbeplacedintheSRWbit.Thisbitwillbecheckedbytheslavedevicetodetermine whethertogointotransmitorreceivemode.BeforeanytransferofdatatoorfromtheI2Cbus,the microcontrollermustinitialisethebus,thefollowingarestepstoachievethis: • Step1 SettheSIM2~SIM0andSIMENbitsintheSIMC0registerto"110"and"1"respectivelyto enabletheI2Cbus. • Step2 WritetheslaveaddressofthesedevicestotheI2CbusaddressregisterSIMA. • Step3 SettheSIMEinterruptenablebitoftheinterruptcontrolregistertoenabletheSIMinterrupt.
