Indicates whether this is the last Next Page. Message Page. Differentiates a message page from an unformatted page. Acknowledge 2. Indicates that the link partner has the ability to comply with the message. Toggle. Used by the arbitration function to ensure synchronization with the link partner during Next Page exchange. Message Code Field. An 11-bit-wide field, encoding 2048 possible messages. Unformatted Code Field.
