permanentlyprotectedfromfurtherchangesi.e.itisaOneTimeProgram(OTP)area.TheSSRis1024bytesin

length.Itconsistsof512bytesforFactoryLockedSecureSiliconRegionand512bytesforCustomerLocked

SecureSiliconRegion.

Lock Register ASO

TheLockregisterASOcontainsasinglewordofOTPmemory.WhentheASOisenteredtheLockRegister

appearsatallwordlocationsinthedeviceaddressspace.However,itisrecommendedtoreadorprogramthe

LockRegisteronlyatlocation0ofthedeviceaddressspaceforfuturecompatibility.

Persistent Protection Bits (PPB) ASO

ThePPBASOcontainsonebitofaFlashMemoryArrayforeachSectorinthedevice.WhenthePPBASO

isentered,thePPBbitforasectorappearsintheLeastSignificantBit(LSB)ofeachaddressinthesector.

ReadinganyaddressinasectordisplaysdatawheretheLSBindicatesthenon-volatileprotectionstatusfor

thatsector.However,itisrecommendedtoreadorprogramthePPBonlyataddress0ofthesectorforfuture
